Othello

Reading the play was difficult but the footnotes at the bottom of the page were very helpful along with the extra help that was posted on Textplorations for us. And the movie was extremely helpful in understanding the play! Iago really made me mad though, how could someone be so decitful like that?  To me that is just plain evil and he needs to get what he deserves. I also thought that Othello sound of taken the time to listen to Desdemona and he should have not believed everything that came out of Iago’s mouth. It was a good play, I enjoy reading Shakespeare even if it’s a hard to understand.

I liked the play too. It was hard to understand, but watching the movie helped me to understand it. Iago was one of those people that will do ANYTHING to get what they want. Othello was just gullible. Some people are like that. When someone tells them something, that thought stays in their mind. Then w/e their significant othher does makes the suspicion grow bigger.

I didn’t like the footnotes at the bottom of the page. I’m used to the footnotes on the sides of the pages next to the play. It was difficult to read the play and have to look at the bottom of the page to find the meaning and then to have to look up and find your place again where you were reading. It was too time consuming.
